The Keppel Union School District has built a solid technology infrastructure and uses technology extensively to support teaching and learning at all grade levels.  The goal of theTechnology  Department is to provide the timely and efficient delivery of technology to all students and staff, and to support learning activities in the classroom, in order to augment and enricheffective education for all Keppelstudents.

 

 

Minimum Specifications for donated Computers


Windows

Processor:

2.40 GHz Processor Intel Core 2 Duo or greater

Memory (RAM):

4 GB RAM

Monitor:

19" Monitor (LCD/LED only)

Graphics Card:

On Board OR 64 MB Graphics Card

DVD/CD:

DVD/CD-ROM (Writer preferred)

Audio (Sound):

Integrated Audio Sound Card

 

Mac Computers

The minimum technical specifications are set forth in order that the computer be capable of running Mac OS 10.5.8 and above, in a satisfactory manner, with no modifications or upgrades required; be able to be remotely supported with District technology; and be a make/model/configuration that the District can support with the imaging process.

All Mac systems must have at least an Intel Core2 Duo processor or greater, and a minimum of 2GB RAM.
